Why Are Chakras Important?
Chakras are the energy centers that feed your body. When they are out of alignment or blocked, you may start feeling the negative impacts of that chakra.
For example:
If your Throat chakra is blocked, your throat will be sore. You may even lose your voice. It becomes blocked when you hold back from speaking your truth or choose not to communicate.
On a smaller scale, let’s say you decide to hold your tongue and not snip back at someone at work. You may have the urge to cry it out, scream it out, vocalize your frustration (like growling), be compelled to talk it out with a friend or sing loudly in the car on the way home. In all of these cases, you are releasing that energy, which is great. If you do none of these things, then your throat chakra will start to block, leading to more significant issues down the road.
Balance is Key for Chakras
We can’t always be in a perfect mood, eat the most organic food or feel like a unicorn floating on a rainbow; this is real life and your chakras oscillate with your emotions. Chakras are very resilient, just like your entire body, but sometimes they need a little balancing and TLC. This is where energy healing can help. If you want to balance your chakras and give them a little love, here are some suggestions:
- Go for an energy session, like Reiki
- Listen to healing frequency music, attuned to different hertz (try searching YouTube)
- Try a yoga class. Stretching can really help to move energy all around your body.
